TNEB Online is the home page to pay Tamilnadu EB Bill through Online Mode. A link is available for online payment which leads to another web portal. In this portal, new user sign up is available. Choose this and enter the details required. The service no details are available in the white meter card or in the previous receipts. Choose the region appropriately. An automatic email will be generated on submission of registration particulars and on confirmation through the link on the email, the user is said to be successfully registered.

If the service number which you are trying to register is already registered by another consumer, then you will get the message “Consumer number already registered” during registration. Still if you want to register that service number for your account, enter the new username and your email id and register a complaint. An email will be sent to the already registered user to delete his account.

If he did not delete his account, the system will check the usage of his account for recent transactions and if no transactions were done by him for the registered service number, then his account will be deleted automatically within 7 days and an intimation email will be sent to you for making new registration

Guidelines to Pay Tamilnadu EB Bill:

New users can sign up through this Web Page for payment of CC charges through Credit / Debit cards or through Net Banking.The consumer has to sign up once for registration.This requires a valid Consumer ID and an e-mail account.
With valid e-mail ID & Consumer Number the consumer chooses a unique username for entering the web site.
On completion of registration requirements, an e-mail is generated to the consumer for successful validation of e-mail ID. A click on the link in the e-mail will lead to user login screen.
The user shall login and key in his authenticated password for making payments through web site.
Consumer number/username for which registration has been made cannot be modified and if required, the user can be deleted through the support link and a fresh registration can be made.
A print of the e-receipt could be generated.
The changes in consumer number and e-mail ID and other personal particulars could be carried out using “Update Profile” button.
The user shall change his passwords frequently for security purposes using “Change Password” button.
A “Forget password” link is available for generating e-mail to the registered mail-id which shall furnish the current password.

Step 1: Visit Official TNEB online Bill payment Website

Step 2: Click on the New User below Login Button

Step 3: Select the Type whether you are a new user or existing user. If you already have EB Connection, click on the Existing User and click Enter

Step 4: Select your Region and click Select button

Step 5: Enter your EB Bill number and click check details to check your details. If the details are correct, the click on Confirm button

Step 6: Enter your personal details and click on Submit Button. Note down the User ID for your reference

Step 7: Then enter the Username and Password and Click Login

Step 8: Select the Region code and Enter the EB Bill or Consumer Number and click submit

Step 9: Pay the Amount and take the Printout of your EB Bill for your reference.
